Many are unaware of the incredible importance of Mushrooms in forest health. Without fungus, life as we know it would not exist. Mushrooms feed vital nutrients to plants from dead matter in the soil. Mushrooms even "communicate" with one another to send specific nutrients to trees in need; one single mushroom is often connected to sometimes hundred of trees in the forest. So how are Mushrooms, Wetlands, and Rain-Forests related?

We all know that water is the most precious resource on earth. During this Ted Talk, Dr. Paul Mankiewicz of the Gaia Institute, discusses ways humans can utilize water to enhance biodiversity, capture carbon, remove toxins, and treat water.
