Restoration Work Party in honor of Veteran’s Day

This week, join us in honor of Veteran’s Day and volunteer with The Mission Continues. The Mission Continues deploys veterans on new missions in their communities – volunteering and making an impact!
Get to know your local ecology first-hand by working around SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve.
Restoration Work Parties take place Saturdays from 10am to 2pm at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve. No previous experience or tools are required, simply arrive with weather-proof clothing for working outside, a water bottle, and a smile. Please be aware that you may encounter muddy areas and plants with thorns. These events are held, rain or shine!
We suggest thick pants, long sleeved shirts, and boots that can trek through mud.
