SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve’s Conservation Pledge

Act now to commit to conserving green spaces in 2018!

This holiday season, SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve is calling on you to make the Conservation Pledge! Now is the time to show your appreciation- for family, for blessings, and for our amazing surroundings. You can do this by taking the pledge to conserve green spaces in 2018 at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve.

As we look ahead at what 2018 has in store, we are eager to see more than just urban development. Our pledge to you is a drive to steward critical habitat, increase access to green spaces, and provide inclusive environmental education in order to cultivate a land use ethic throughout the Puget Sound Region.

Conservation means the proper use of natural resources, so that they are protected:

Restore – With your $50 donation, you are taking a step to improve native, red-legged frog habitat at the Nature Preserve.
Educate – By donating $100 today, you can subsidize a Wilderness Adventure Field Trip, so that cost is never a barrier.
Preserve – For only $500 you can preserve one of the upland trails at the Nature Preserve, ensuring it remains a community resource for all of 2018.
Steward – Your donation of $1,000 makes you a SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve Community Steward.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity! Make your year-end, a tax-deductible donation between Thanksgiving Day and December 31st, 2017!

With Gratitude,

SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve Staff & Board
