SUMMARY:Forest Bathing with Cascadia Forest Therapy - October
DESCRIPTION:The art of forest bathing is the art of connecting with nature through our senses. All we have to do is accept the invitation.  Engage mindfully with the world around you on one of SHADOW’s beautiful upland trails on a two hour guided Forest Therapy Nature Walk experience with our new partner Cascadia Forest Therapy! Your sensory-focused time in the natural world will culminate in a lovely tea ceremony.\nThis event is fee based on a sliding scale with a per person cost of $50.00.\nTo pay for the class in advance please go to this link and pay what you can for the event.  Payment will be accepted the day of the event by SHADOW staff via check or online payment at the preserve.\nNo one will be turned away for inability to pay the full fee\, however we do need a minimum of 7 full-price paying participants to have this Forest Therapy experience.  A maximum of 15 participants will be allowed per session.  If there are not enough participants prior to class 72 hours prior to the experience\, the class will be cancelled and participants can either get a full refund for pre-payments or they can apply it to a future session.\n  \n\n	Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.\nNo Fields Found.

DESCRIPTION:We need help with tasks like trail maintenance\, grounds enhancement\, invasive plant removal\, and planting\, pruning\, and protecting native species so they thrive.  \nNo previous experience or tools are required\, simply arrive with weather-proof clothing for working outside (closed toed shoes are a must)\, a water bottle\, and be ready to have fun and learn while making a difference.
