SUMMARY:Mindful Restoration Workparty with Cascadia Forest Therapy!
DESCRIPTION:Help SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve thoughtfully restore and preserve the biodiversity of the land we steward by removing invasive weeds and pruning native species so that new\, native plantings thrive.  This work party will be facilitated with our partners\, Cascadia Forest Therapy\, to bring mindful intention to the restoration work. Basing the experience on the principles of Forest Bathing\, the work party will have a deeper connection to the plants and restorative intention than in our usual work parties. Your sensory-focused time in the natural world will culminate in a closing ceremony.\nNo previous experience or tools are required\, simply arrive with weather-proof clothing for working outside (closed toed shoes are a must)\, a water bottle\, and be ready to have fun while making a difference. Please be aware that you may encounter muddy areas\, plants with thorns\, or areas where native pollinators (bees) are thriving. \nThese events are held rain or shine! \nWe will meet at SHADOW’s Richter Education Center parking lot and then head to the restoration location. \n\n	Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.\nNo Fields Found.
