We need help with tasks like trail maintenance, grounds enhancement, invasive plant removal, and planting, pruning, and protecting native species so they thrive.
No previous experience or tools are required, simply arrive with weather-proof clothing for working outside (closed toed shoes are a must), a water bottle, and be ready to have fun and learn while making a difference. Please be aware that you may encounter muddy areas, plants with thorns, or areas where native pollinators (bees) are thriving.
These events are held rain or shine!
We will meet at SHADOW’s Richter Education Center parking lot and then head to the restoration location after a briefing about the work for the day and tour of the bog.
