Family Friendly Restoration Work Party

 

Join us for World Environmental Health Day and help us take care of a special part of the SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve forest. We will be doing light invasive plant removal in our beautiful Uplands forest. We will not be working with blackberries or any other armed plants. Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. We will start with a tour of our peat bog at 10:00am, and then head to the Uplands forest to get to work. All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by responsible adult.
