Guided Nature Walk: Recognizing Invasive Plant Species

July 19, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Explore the Nature Preserve with a guide and learn about invasive plant species found in the Pacific Northwest, some of which might be growing in (and spreading from) your own backyard! Hike around the grounds of SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve with our Restoration and Outreach Specialist to identify these species and discuss the impacts they have on our environment.

Guided Nature Walks are outdoor explorations that take place rain or shine, designed for people of all ages. Come with weather appropriate clothes and shoes for moderate levels of walking – inclines or uneven ground may be encountered on this walk.
