Halloween in the Haunted Peat Bog

It’s getting spooky here at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve! Please join us for a fun-filled family event on Saturday, October 28th as we celebrate and demystify some of the creepy, crawly, and mysterious—yet ecologically important—creatures and ecosystems we coexist with. Door prize will be awarded for on-theme costumes!
Enjoy crafts and activities, exciting games and raffles, and a thrilling tour through the haunted peat bog! While all activities are Halloween-themed, this event is intended to not be scary for children.
Suggested donation of $15 to help us continue to provide community events and environmental education while preserving and restoring vital habitat.
