Volunteer with SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve to help clean up litter along the roads!

Adopt-a-Road is an event that aims to transform and tidy up roadways along SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve into a healthier and cleaner environment. Help us Keep our streets pollution-free on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, from 10:00pm to 2:00pm. Cleaning equipment will be provided, so just bring yourself and a positive attitude! Join us afterwards for pizza and drinks, which will be provided as a thank you for your hard work. This event is led by Cecilia Monahan.

To register for this event:
1. Complete the Individual Participant Release Form and forward it to cecilia@shadowhabitat.org
*Volunteers are required to be 18 or older. The registration deadline is August 15th, 2026.
2. Review the Adopt-A-Road Safety Rules and watch the Volunteer Safety Training Video
