Guided Nature Walk: Sustainable Hiking Practices

Explore the beauty of our trails with a guide at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve and learn about sustainable hiking practices. We’ll discuss leave no trace principles and how you can help protect our favorite native species while on the trail!  

Guided Nature Walks are outdoor explorations that take place rain or shine, designed for people of all ages. Come with weather appropriate clothes and shoes for moderate levels of walking – inclines or uneven ground may be encountered on this walk.
