Connecting conservation science with conservation action. An Overview of the Washington Natural Heritage Program

Come learn about conservation in action as we welcome Joe Rocchio for the next installment of our 2023 community lecture series!

Joe manages the Washington Department of Natural Resources, Natural Heritage Program. A program that catalogues the plants, animals, and ecosystems of Washington and prioritizes their conservation needs, helping guide land use decisions and conservation funding in the state and providing the framework for the statewide system of natural areas.

Hot cocoa and water will be provided, come early to take a tour of the bog!

Registration is required for this event, and a $5.00 donation is suggested for adults ages 18 and up.
