It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Education and Restoration Lead, Nathan LeClear, from SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve. Since joining the preserve in January of 2022, Nathan has excelled in his role. He has a kind soul and his love of the natural world, science, and fun that he brings to SHADOW along with his gregariousness and can-do attitude will be sorely missed.
We are excited for his next adventure as he steps into the role of Restoration Projects Manager for the McKenzie River Trust! There he will, no doubt, continue to make great advancements for habitat conservation. We knew we would have a good time when Nathan was around and he will bring his great sense of humor and unique ideas to his new position. We wish Nathan and his family all the best in their new adventure in Eugene, Oregon!
